NORTHLAND AEG ENTERS NAMING RIGHTS AGREEMENT WITH XL INSURANCE
Hartford Civic Center to be Renamed

12.18.2007, Hartford, CT - Northland AEG LLC has today entered into a 6-year naming rights agreement with XL Insurance, the global insurance operations of XL Capital Ltd. (NYSE:XL). Under the agreement, the Hartford Civic Center, Connecticut’s premier sports and entertainment venue, will be renamed the “XL Center.” The XL Center includes the 16,500 seat Veterans Memorial Coliseum, the Exhibition Hall, 46 Suites, and the Comcast Coliseum Club featuring a full bar, restaurant and in-seat dining.

“XL’s commitment to Hartford’s major sports and entertainment venue is yet another positive step towards creating a wonderful city in which to live, work and play,” said Lawrence R. Gottesdiener, Chairman of the Board, Northland Investment Corporation. “We commend XL Insurance’s commitment to Hartford and its revitalization and appreciate their continued investment in the City.”

The XL Center will remain the home of UConn’s Men’s and Women’s Basketball and the American Hockey League’s Hartford Wolf Pack ice hockey team. The venue will also continue to host major music attractions, various family shows, ice skating spectaculars and conferences, as well as trade and consumer fairs. The XL Center will host its first event under the new moniker with a sold-out performance of Miley Cyrus’ "Best of Both Worlds" Tour on December 19. Cyrus is best known as television’s “Hannah Montana.”
