GREAT HILLS NAMED PROPERTY OF THE YEAR BY THE AUSTIN APARTMENT ASSOCIATION

06.22.2009, Newton, MA - Northland Investment Corporation is pleased to announce that Great Hills was recently named Property of the Year by the Austin Apartment Association (AAA). More than 500 people attended the organization’s Jewels of the Industry Awards ceremony, which was held on June 17, 2009.

Categories are based on age and size of the property. Great Hills won the Sapphire 300+ Units Award, which is awarded to a community with 300 or more units, and built between 1984 and 1990. Each property is evaluated on three criteria: staff and staff designations, physical/visual inspection, and a blind shop of the property. Members of the AAA serve as judges for the staff and property inspection, while the blind shop is performed by an independent entity.
