Northland opens Second Headquarters in Austin, Positioning the Firm for Continued National Expansion
Leader in Multifamily Operations brought aboard to oversee Northland’s Western U.S. Portfolio
NEWTON, MA (March 6, 2023) – Northland, a leading national real estate private equity firm with $8 billion of assets under management, today announced it has opened its second headquarters,“HQ2,” in Austin, Texas. The corporate office, located in The Domain at 3200 Grace Kiltz Lane, will enable leadership to more closely support the on-site execution of existing business and initiatives in its Western U.S. portfolio of multifamily and mixed-use assets. The firm has hired Jeff England as Vice President of Multifamily, who will serve as a dedicated leader for Northland’s multifamily operations across the Western United States.

England will oversee management of Northland’s portfolio in Texas, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, and Wisconsin. In his new role, he will also drive increased revenue through effective leadership, financial insight, and innovative business strategies. He brings extensive experience in commercial real estate, including over a decade of various multifamily operational leadership roles to the position.

Prior to joining Northland, England was Regional Director of Multifamily Properties at Brookfield Properties. England began his career in commercial property management in Southern California, before he transitioned to roles in multifamily operations. He received a bachelor’s degree from California State University, East Bay in Business Administration, and an MBA in Finance from the University of California, Los Angeles.
