Northland Acquires The Lucie at Tradition, Expands Southeast Florida Portfolio

August 19, 2025 – Port St. Lucie, FL– Northland, a national real estate private equity firm with $8 billion of assets under management, announced today the acquisition of The Lucie at Tradition, a 264-unit, Class A multifamily community located within the master-planned Tradition neighborhood in Port St. Lucie, FL. With this latest acquisition, Northland now owns six properties in Southeast Florida totaling 1,910 units, and its Florida portfolio has grown to include twenty-six properties totaling 8,202 units.

Situated on 15.9 acres, the community offers residents convenient access to I-95 and is located just steps from more than 1 million square feet of retail space, including The Landing at Tradition and Tradition Square. Anchored by popular national retailers, the area serves as a vibrant commercial hub.

 

Completed in March 2024, The Lucie at Tradition is a gated community with modern design, featuring 9-foot ceilings, screened-in balconies and patios, and upscale interiors. Interior finishes include stainless-steel appliances, white quartz countertops, chef-inspired kitchen islands with pendant lighting, custom shaker-style cabinetry with soft-close features, subway tile backsplash, hardwood-style flooring, en-suite bathrooms, and full-size in-unit washer/dryer sets.

 

Community amenities consist of a large pool with a sundeck and cabanas, a fitness center with cardio equipment free weights and a separate yoga room, a clubhouse with a lounge area and entertainment kitchen, a pickleball court, and a dog park.

 

Northland will roll out SmartRent technology across all homes to create a more connected and convenient living experience. In addition, EV charging stations will be installed in five existing garage spaces to support more sustainable living.
