We are thrilled to announce that Northland’s VP of Development Kent Gonzales has been featured in the Newton-Needham Chamber’s inaugural “50 Most Influential Business People of Color” list, celebrating the professionals and executives of color positively contributing to Greater Boston’s economic and social fabric.

With over 30 years of diverse real estate development experience in the public, private and non-profit sectors, Kent has become a leader in the region’s real estate industry. Among his recent contributions to the region, Kent was instrumental in the approval of the 23-acre Northland Newton Development project, one of the region’s most transformative and sustainable housing and economic development projects that will deliver 800 housing units, including 140 much-needed affordable homes, 180K SF of office space, 10 acres of green space, and new innovative transit solutions to Needham Street and Newton Upper Falls.

Kent is also actively engaged with the community, serving on the N-Squared Subcommittee and the Real Estate Subcommittee of the Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce.
